Day of Event (Did the day matter?): Saturday, Yes, we believe that the date and the day of the week impacted the outcome. We felt that our guests were able to relax and enjoy themselves more due to the fact that the Wedding was on a Saturday.
We were very pleased with our photographer and videographer. They were very professional and did a superb job. Both vendors were very organized and we had meetings both in person and over the phone many times prior to the wedding to discuss the timeline for the events of our wedding day.
They were also very flexible in adapting to the last minute changes we made in our timeline.
Overall, we were very pleased with the final outcome of our photos and videos
Florist you used: Overall feedback about your experience.
Our florist was Rowia Haddad Satamian. Rowia is a native Jordanian florist and wedding designer who has recently begun her career in the US. Overall Rowia did a wonderful job and we were very impressed with her work at both our Engagement party in 2008, my Bridal Shower in May 2010 and also Our wedding. Rowia truly brought our visions and ideas to life in our floral arrangements both in the ceremony venue and the reception venue.
Cake: Our Bakery, Jaqki’s Cake Creations, was a referral from The Castaway. Jaqki’s Cakes were not only delicious but her presentation was spectacular. In our meetings with Jaqki herself, we were able to describe our vision for our cakes (we had a  separate groom’s cake and also a 5 tier wedding cake. She truly brought our dream wedding cakes to life and we were able to have up to 7 different flavors in the different tiers.
Location of Ceremony: Bel Air Presbyterian Church, Los Angeles. The Wedding Coordinator at Bel Air Presbyterian was very organized and had a specific timeline for us to follow for our ceremony. The wedding coordinator was there to guide our bridal party and family members involved in the ceremony. Although the Church was a traditional Presbyterian Church, we had the opportunity to bring in our own Pastors to officiate the ceremony. Overall, we had a very positive experience at Bel Air Presbyterian.
Location of your Wedding Reception: The Castaway, Burbank. We were very happy with the food, service, and management at The Castaway. The planning process with our Catering Manager at The Castaway was excellent. Our guests had only positive remarks to share with us regarding the food and service, and we felt the same.
Number of guests that attended your wedding? 450 guests. We both come from very large families and we also have many friends. Although it took extra effort in planning and organization, we had an amazing time with our guests and were very happy in having a large wedding.
Did you take photos before or after the wedding? We took photos separately prior to the Wedding Ceremony. This was our personal choice as bride and groom because we wanted our first moment together to be the bride’s entrance. This moment was truly a special moment that we will never forget.
After the wedding ceremony, we took photos with our family members and bridal party as well as photos of the bride and groom on the church grounds.
Also, during the reception we had an opportunity to take photos on the reception grounds. Overall, we were very happy with our photos and our venues provided excellent spots for our photos.
Overall any advice you can give. Enjoy every moment of the planning process and especially the wedding day!
